An online presentation this Thursday, and a Berkeley meetup next Tuesday
Online - This Thursday, May 11, 10:00 am – 11:00 am PDT
This Thursday, I’ll give an online presentation on our work for the Software, Data, and Tech Effective Altruism group. There should be ample time for questions and answers.
Estimating Everything Everywhere Always
A survey of the Quantified Uncertainty Research Institute's agenda to advance large estimation systems. This agenda outlines a software-heavy paradigm meant to help make efficient progress on key epistemic questions. Special attention on our estimation programming language Squiggle and estimating large utility functions.
Berkeley - Next Tuesday, May 16, 7 pm PDT
Next Thursday, Ben Goldhaber (QURI Board Member) and I are holding a small social in Berkeley. This is meant for professionals around EA/strategy/forecasting/probability. If you would like to attend, please leave a comment or email me at email@example.com.
